Service Times: Sunday Morning with Holy Communion - 9:00 am

Children's Learning Time -Sunday School time for Children will begin on September 13th at 9:00 am. Children of all ages are invited to come and join us.

Weekly Bible Studies -
Bible Studywill begin on September 10th with Bible Study at 1:00 PM, Movie Study at 2:00 PM. All are welcomed to join us for Bible Study.

August 23rd
Hymn Sing and Back to School Sunday.

During the worship service on August 23rd, St. John's will be having a "Blessing of the Backpacks and Blessing for Teachers and Students". Backpack supplies will be available for pick up and a blessing for the new School Year.

WELCA Collection Shoe Drive
The WELCA chapter of St. John's are collecting shoes for the month of August. Any type of shoes are accepted as long as they are good, used shoes and have no physical holes or wear in them.

St. John's is an ELCA Lutheran congregation. We are the oldest church in Mifflinville founded in 1792. Our mission is focused on serving those in our community and around the globe. We believe that all people have a special gift from God to help serve and to worship God in their own unique and special way!!

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

St. John's was founded as a Union Church with the German Refored in 1792. We were known in deeds and documents as the "German Church" since our heritage were the German settlers in Columbia County..

OUR MINISTRIES

St. John's offer a wide variety of ministries. We offer a Children's Learning Time on Sunday Mornings at 9:00 am We also have a Vacation Bible School in June. We have a Grief Support Ministry The Welcome Table a Senior lunch gathering and more!

WORSHIP SERVICE

We worship on Sundays at 9:00 am with a traditional service with Holy Communion each Sunday, We have an adult choir, a handbell and handchime choir and occasionaly special guest musicians We also sponsor our annual "Polka Mass" in October each year

There are many different ways to support the mission and ministries at St. John's From donation of non-perishable food items, cooked meals for the welcome table and through monetary giving. Contact our church office if you would like to support our ministries.
