The North Branch Conference of Pastors and Synod delegates will be meeting at St. John's at 2:00 pm to discuss the upcoming Synod Assembly and to vote on new officers for the coming year.

MAY 10

Our monthly Welcome Table ministry will be held from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon. First come, first serve bagged luncheons for those seeking a hot meal in our community.

St. John's is an ELCA Lutheran congregation. We are the oldest church in Mifflinville founded in 1792. Our mission is focused on serving those in our community and around the globe. We believe that all people have a special gift from God to help serve and to worship God in their own unique and special way!!

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

St. John's was founded as a Union Church with the German Refored in 1792. We were known in deeds and documents as the "German Church" since our heritage were the German settlers in Columbia County..

OUR MINISTRIES

St. John's offer a wide variety of ministries. We offer a Children's Learning Time on Sunday Mornings at 9:00 am We also have a Vacation Bible School in June. We have a Grief Support Ministry The Welcome Table a Senior lunch gathering and more!

WORSHIP SERVICE

We worship on Sundays at 9:00 am with a traditional service with Holy Communion each Sunday, We have an adult choir, a handbell and handchime choir and occasionaly special guest musicians We also sponsor our annual "Polka Mass" in October each year

There are many different ways to support the mission and ministries at St. John's From donation of non-perishable food items, cooked meals for the welcome table and through monetary giving. Contact our church office if you would like to support our ministries.
