Service Times:  Sunday Morning with Holy Communion - 9:00 am

Children's Learning Time - Sunday Morning 9:00 am. All Ages of youth are welcomed! 

Weekly Bible Studies - 
We are studying the Book of Job on Thursdays at 1:00 PM.
On Thursdays at 2:00 PM, we watch and discuss a feature Christian movie.  We are watching Babette's Feast and we will also be watching "The Shack" as our next movie 


UPCOMING EVENTS

February 17th - Shrove Tuesday Pancake meal.

St. John's will be having their church Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on February 17th in the Fellowship Hall.  If you are interested in this event, please contact the church office for further details. 

February 18th - Ash Wednesday service with Ashes and Holy Communion

Ash Wednesday service with Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion will be held on Wednesday, February 18th at 7:00 PM.  Imposition of Ashes and the Celebration of the Blessed Sacrament of Communion will be observed that evening.  

Sunday Evenings starting February 22nd at 6:00 PM - Evening Lenten Soup /Sandwich Service

St. John's an Faith United will hold their Annual Lenten Sunday Evening Soup/Sandwich and Service starting at St. John's on Sunday evening, February 22nd at 6:00 PM.  A light meal of soup and sandwich will follow with an informal worship service.  This year's theme will be Luther's Small Cathecism.

St. John's is an ELCA Lutheran congregation.  We are the oldest church in Mifflinville founded in 1792.  Our mission is focused on serving those in our community and around the globe.  We believe that all people have a special gift from God to help serve and to worship God in their own unique and special way!!

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

St. John's was founded as a Union Church with the German Refored in 1792.  We were known in deeds and documents as the "German Church" since our heritage were the German settlers in Columbia County..

OUR MINISTRIES

St. John's offer a wide variety of ministries.  We offer a Children's Learning Time on Sunday Mornings at 9:00 am  We also have a Vacation Bible School in June.  We have a Grief Support Ministry The Welcome Table a Senior lunch gathering and more!

WORSHIP SERVICE

We worship on Sundays at 9:00 am with a traditional service with Holy Communion each Sunday,  We have an adult choir, a handbell and handchime choir and occasionaly special guest musicians  We also sponsor our annual "Polka Mass" in October each year

There are many different ways to support the mission and ministries at St. John's From donation of non-perishable food items, cooked meals for the welcome table and through monetary giving.  Contact our church office if you would like to support our ministries.
